A hat or not to hat?

I have been asked by some of my American family to be whether a hat is required for an English wedding? In short, the answer is no! But it looks lovely styled with a pretty sun dress (and it keeps that sun off your face - fingers crossed it doesn't rain on the big day)

Below is a picture of my beautiful cousin Nicky and my Auntie Lynda sporting a fabulous hat on Nicky's wedding day for some real British wedding inspiration!

...Some inspiration for our English Garden Wedding

Seeing as our setting is an English Country garden, what better theme to have than "English Country Garden"!

... we LOVE silhouettes (not very garden inspired, but oh well) big pots of red geraniums and what ever flower we can find in the back garden. Woven into this a vintage graphic thread - (hence the vintage airmail envelope) to play off the amazing 1912 Gorse Hill location.
